Adverse Credit Home Mortgages
Having adverse credit can be a soul-destroying experience, whatever the reason for it; it may not even be your fault. With an estimated 1 in 4 (25%!!!) of the population having adverse credit at some point in their lives lenders have been required to act.
And act they have.
Now there are a numbers of lenders who are prepared to offer people with adverse credit home mortgages. Normally adverse credit home mortgages are charged higher interest rates than other borrowers due to the risks involved. The number of lenders willing to offer these types of home mortgage have increased dramatically over the last few years, possibly due to the numbers of people suffering from adverse credit increasing. The marketplace has become much more competitive and reasonable deals can be found.
Other specialist lenders offer adverse credit home mortgages known as credit repair deals. These home mortgages are charged with higher interest rates than normal and are required to provide a 10% deposit. However, once you have maintained the repayments on these mortgages for a given period of time, usually 2-4 years, your credit history will have repaired itself and you will be able to re-mortgage back to a high street lender offering a better deal.
